Tricia Bruce received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006, and is currently an associate professor of sociology at Maryville College. Her research and teaching interests include the sociology of religion, social movements, Catholicism, immigration, and organizations as well as applied sociology.
Dr. Jerry Z. Park (Co-Lead researcher)
Jerry Park received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame in 2004, and is currently an associate professor of sociology at Baylor University. His research and teaching interests include the sociology of religion, Asian Americans, ethnic/racial relations, social identity, cultural adaptation and social mobility.
Dr. Stephen Cherry (Co-Lead researcher)
Stephen Cherry received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008, and is currently an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. His research and teaching interests include the sociology of religion, immigration, Asian Americans, ethnic/racial relations, civic and political engagement, and social movements.
